Wet & Kilo Kish @ Underground Arts 2/28

Brooklyn singer Kilo Kish has announced that she will be teaming up with fellow Brooklyn band Wet for a tour that is set to kick off next spring. The two acts will embark on a 26 stop tour that will come to Philadelphia when they play at Underground Arts on February 28th. In case Kilo Kish and Wet aren’t enough to entice you, they also announced that Montreal singer Helena Deland will be joining the tour as well.

Kilo Kish broke onto the stage in 2012 with her impressive debut mixtape Homeschool which featured a variety of different producers such as The Internet and The Jet Age of Tomorrow. Kish is currently coming in hot off the release of her most recent mixtape mothe which dropped just a few months ago on September 7th. The mothe EP finally gave new music to fans who have been clamoring for a new project since her debut album Reflections in Real Time a little over two years ago.

Wet is an interesting indie rock duo that formed when Kelly Zutrau and Joe Valle met through mutual friends while Zutrau was attending NYU in 2007. The band has had a busy year as they spent the first chunk of it touring with Florence + The Machine over in Europe. They followed that up with the release of their second studio album Still Run which came out in July. Tickets for the show just recently went on sale, but keep in mind that it is a 21 and over performance.
