Lollapalooza Stockholm Announces Inaugural 2019 Lineup Featuring Lana Del Rey, Foo Fighters and Bring Me The Horizon

Music festival Lollapalooza has announced yet another iteration of its world famous show. The Lollapalooza festivals can be found around the globe, with some of its biggest shows being in Chicago and Paris in 2017. The first Lollapalooza was held in 1991 traveled around the US each year. The festival would be cancelled in the late 90s, but revived 6 years later and go on to be one of the world’s largest music events each year. Their newest festival is going to take place in Stockholm on June 28-29 2019 and feature a wide variety of musicians. Some of the more famous performers who are slated to appear include legendary rock band, Foo Fighters, and renowned singer Lana Del Rey. Other notable acts are going to be alternative rock band Bring Me the Horizon and rapper Travis Scott.

Foo Fighters are one of the most well known bands making music today, with songs like “Everlong” and “Best of You” becoming massive hits when they were released. The group is still making new material; their album Concrete and Gold was released in 2017, and featured the song “The Sky Is A Neighborhood.” The group has been performing in a variety of festivals in recent years, recently announcing a performance at Hungary’s Sziget festival in 2019. Foo Fighters have been putting on outstanding performances since the 1990s, and can be counted on for a good show.

Lana Del Rey is another one of the biggest names performing at the festival, with her songs “Summertime Sadness” and “Young and Beautiful” being massive commercial successes. Her most recent album, Lust For Life, was released in 2017 and brought with it the songs “Love” and “Lust For Life.” Since the release of her debut album, Born To Die, in 2012, Lana Del Rey has become globally famous. She most recently announced her next album Norman Fucking Rockwell, which is supported by her newest single “Venice Beach.” The new single is 10 minutes in length, making it one of her longest ever. Lana’s performance is sure to be one of the biggest shows of the weekend.

The alternative rock band, Bring Me the Horizon, is also slated to play at Lollapalooza Stockholm. The band is well known for their hit song “Throne,” which was released on their 2015 album That’s The Spirit. Their most recent project was 2004-2013, a compilation album featuring some of the band’s biggest hits from over the years. Another one of the biggest acts at the show is going to be rapper Travis Scott. Scott just this week had is first #1 song on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. The song “Sicko Mode” from his most recent album, Astroworld, finally reached the top of the charts after floating in the top 5 for months. Scott recently began his tour for the album, even performing at his own one-day Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas last month.
