Coheed and Cambria Announces New U.S Headline Tour Dates and Shares Live Video For “The Dark Sentencer”

Coheed and Cambria fans rejoice! The band has announced a new U.S. tour after recently wrapping up “The Heavenly Tour” alongside Maps and Atlases and Thank You Scientist last week. The new U.S. leg will kick off a couple of days after the 2019 Superbowl in Norfolk, VA. February 5th to be exact. It will make its way around the east coast, with dates in Florida, Tennessee, and Ohio, before concluding February 28th in Clifton, NY. See the full list of dates below.

Along with the tour announcement, the group also released a live video of them performing their song “The Dark Sentencer.” The new video showcases the band captivating its audience with strobe lights, multiple camera angle views giving it an overall superb production. See the awesome visual below.

The tour is in support of their latest album The Unheavenly Creatures, released last month and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums. According to a press release, it will mark the bands return to concept albums, with the ‘First Act’ featuring a brand-new story arc set within the backdrop of The Amory Wars universe.

A deluxe version of THE UNHEAVENLY CREATURES is now available as apart of the VAXIS – ACT I: THE UNHEAVENLY CREATURES – LIMITED EDITION DELUXE BOX SET. The deluxe box set includes an exclusive eighty-eight-page hardcover sci-fi novel with imagery by Chase Stone, and the complete Act 1 novella written by frontman Claudio Sanchez and his wife, Chondra Echert. The box set also includes a mask of the main character in The Unheavenly Creatures, copy of the album, as well as an exclusive bonus album, The Crown Heights Demos, showing the songs in their original written form. A three-panel fold-out poster of the expanded album cover art and an Unheavenly Creatures Black Card which will allow all card holders early entry to Coheed and Cambria upcoming tour.
