Firenze Rocks Announces 2019 Lineup Featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool and The Cure

Europe continues to boast stellar lineups for 2019. Italy’s Firenze Rocks music festival has revealed a few of the festival performers for the four-day festival. The festival will take place in Florence, Italy at the Visarno Arena from June 13-16th, with The Smashing Pumpkins and Tool set to kick off the festival’s first day. The following day will feature a headlining set from Ed Sheeran, and The Cure will close out the festival on June 16th. The third and final headliner will be announced at a later date. Tickets for days with headliners are on sale now via the festival’s website.

This past year delivered with an awesome lineup including headlining sets from Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Avenged Sevenfold, and Judas Priest. Festival-goers were in for a treat this year as the Foo Fighters and Guns N’ Roses shared the stage performing Guns N’ Roses’ “It’s So Easy,” song off of their debut studio album Appetite for Destruction. Past lineups have included Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, The Cranberries, System of a Down, and Prophets of Rage.

Festival headliners The Smashing Pumpkins recently shared their new song “Knights of Malta,” from their forthcoming album Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. The band is also gearing up to play some gigs in North America starting November 27th as a part of their 30th-anniversary tour. Some cities the band will be performing in include sold-out show in Chicago, St. Louis, San Antonio, and Phoenix before concluding with a headlining set at Los Angeles’ rock radio station KROQ’s annual Almost Acoustic Christmas at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. Other performers include Florence + The Machine, CHVRCHES, Greta Van Fleet, and Billie Eilish.
