Storied British metal band Iron Maiden have declared that they will be embarking on North American tour next summer. The “Legacy of the Beast Tour” will be coming to the Wells Fargo Center on July 30th. It will be their first return to the stage in North America since their world tour following The Book of Souls back in 2016. The band certainly have become veterans of the road as this marks their 25th headlining tour and has performed over 2000 shows.
The “Legacy of the Beast Tour” is centered around their mobile game, “Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast” that has now been out for a few years. The game features different incarnations of Eddie, the band’s famous mascot, in different worlds inspired by their large body of work musically. According to Bruce Dickinson, their tour will play upon the different worlds of the game in the show using drastic stage changes to represent the different themes of the game. He expanded upon that saying that it is their biggest and most intricate production yet for a tour. In case this doesn’t sound enticing enough to fans, the band will be joined by newer British metal group The Raven Age. The two bands also performed together on Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls tour, but the Raven Age has released their debut album since then.
