An amazing tribute album by dozens of artists for Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” is set to be released on November 9. The Melvins just released a cover of Pink Floyd’s “In the Flesh” included on the tribute album. The entire tracklist is listed below.

The Melvins also did a cover of Black Sabbath’s pioneering metal tune “Sabbath Blood Sabbath,” on a separate album along with Alvin Cisneros and predictably, it’s a faithfully-done representation of the track.

Tracks have been released from Pink Floyd‘s “The Wall“, “The Wall [Redux]“ tribute album, including Summoner covering “Hey You“ and Pallbearer‘s take on “Run Like Hell” from the outing over at Revolver.

Sasquatch’s cover of “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2.” takes on a pummeling nature in the hands of Sasquatch, dropping a heavy dose of their stoner metal sound on the classic rock radio staple. Gone are the funky staccato guitar stabs of the original, replaced by tons of low end and a soulful organ arrangement. Vocalist Keith Gibbs provides an impassioned performance, his throaty growl clear to understand throughout the metal tour-de-force and Craig Riggs and Jason Casanova drop a whole lot of groove into the song’s already funky arrangements.

Magnetic Eye Records‘ tribute to Pink Floyd‘s 1979 album will be released after $17,790 was crowdfunded via Kickstarter back in 2017 for this new compilation.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
