Joyce Manor @ Hollywood Palladium 1/19

Following the release of their recent album entitled Million Dollars to Kill Me, Joyce Manor is scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Palladium on the first month of 2019. The American indie-rock band will be performing here on Saturday, January 19th. Tickets for the show are going to be general admission standing and will cost $25 with some resale tickets starting at $39. Doors for the show are going to open at 5:30 PM, with the performance beginning at 6:30 PM. The concert will be available to all ages.

Joyce Manor is a rock band from Torrance, California and got their start in 2008. The band roster consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, bassist and back-up vocalist Matt Ebert, and drummer Pat Ware. The band is primarily known for their emo rock sound, which is accurately demonstrated on their popular single Constant Headache. The rock group has a total of five albums in their discography, with their most recent one being released on September 21 of this year. Million Dollars to Kill Me is a 10 track album that had an exciting sound with hints of their emo roots. This fifth studio album peaked at number five on the US Billboard Heatseekers chart, number 18 on the US Billboard Independent Albums chart, and number nine on the US Billboard Tastemaker Albums chart.

There is no doubt that this four man band is continuing to thrive despite the change in emo music. Joyce Manor has managed to constantly release music all while keeping their signature sound. Hit the link below to catch the quartet at the Palladium on 1/19.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
