Thom Yorke Shares Third Track From The Susperia Soundtrack “Volk”

The third song from Thom Yorke’s Suspiria; Music for the Luca Guadagnino Film has been released.  “Volk”, the “haunting instrumental” follows “Has Ended” and the first single “Suspirium”.  The soundtrack consists of score Thom Yorke wrote specifically for the remake of the 1977 horror classic.  The album will also feature the London Contemporary Orchestra and Choir.  “Volk” features Noah Yorke on drums.

Yorke drew inspiration for the soundtrack from the film’s setting in 1977 Berlin. The movie is about an American ballet student who gets accepted into a prestigious German dance school. However, following a series of murders and other strange occurrences, it is discovered the school is run by a coven of witches.

Yorke is set to hit the road on an upcoming tour while the soundtrack to the horror flick will be out just in time for Halloween on October 26 on XL recordings. It will be available across digital platforms, as well as 2-LP gatefold package pink vinyl and 2-CD physical versions.
