Following the recent passing of the talented rapper, Mac Miller’s family and management company have announced a benefit concert to help launch the Mac Miller Circle Fund (MMCF). Tickets for the event will range from $39.50 to $500 depending on the ticket package chosen. Proceedings will go to MMCF to provide programming, resources and opportunities to youth from underserved communities, helping them recognize their full potential through exploration in the arts and community building. The event will begin at 6:30 PM, with no one under the age of 2 being permitted.

Malcolm James McCormick, aka Mac Miller, was an influential, friendly, and multitalented artist from Pittsburgh. His debut album Blue Side Park debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart in 2011. This was the first independently distributed album that achieved this title since the release of Dogg Food (1995) by Tha Dogg Pound.

It is without a doubt that Miller had a positive impact on many artists, which is evident in the event’s lineup. Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
