Billy Idol @ Glen Helen Amphitheater 10/5

Legendary English musician Billy Idol is slated to perform on the second day of Cal Jam Fest at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino. Billy idol will be performing on Friday October 5th alongside with Bridget Everett, Mexrrissey, and many more. Tickets to attend the first day of the festival to see Billy Idol are going to cost $30. Doors on Friday are going to open at 6:00 PM, with music beginning at 7:00 PM. Cal Jam is an 18 years old or older event, however, those that are under 18 years old are required to bring a legal guardian to enter.

Billy Idol got his start in music by joining the punk rock group Chelsea in 1976. He then left the band and formed the band Generation X with a former bandmate. It was here that Idol began to find some success in his music career. Three studio albums were released until the band eventually disbanded. Then in 1981, Idol moved to the U.S. to begin his solo career under the official moniker “Billy Idol”. His debut album, which was named after him, had great success with tracks like Dancing With Myself and White Wedding being some of the most iconic. Since then, Idol has released several more hits including Mony Mony, Rebel Yell, Eyes Without A Face, and more. These tracks were staples in Idol’s discography and were to forever represent his musical talent.
