Boys Noize Shares New Song “Killer” Featuring Steven A Clark

In 1990 a song called “Killer” by English DJ Adamski, featuring Seal on vocals went to number one on the UK Charts.  Twenty-eight years later the song has been re-recorded and released by Berlin DJ, Boys Noize (aka Alex Ridha) featuring Miami-based singer and songwriter Steven A. Clark on vocals.  The idea to re-record the song sparked earlier this year while the two were collaborating on Clark’s most recent album, released earlier this month Where Neon Goes to Die.

Boys Noize elaborated on the inspiration, “Being a 90’s kid, I kind of grew up with this song which later became one of these tunes I’d play out at the end of the night. When I met Steven and heard his voice for the first time I immediately thought of that track and the idea of doing a cover version was born.”

The video is an exact remake of the original, shot in Berlin complete with an early 90’s vibe.  The song however is a stronger remake with more modern sound.  The song is available on vinyl.

This December Boys Noize will be participating in the lineup for the Friendship Maiden Voyage cruise, set to depart from Miami and sail to the Bahamas with four nights of beach parties and live music.  Ridha is also kicking off brief US tour in October.
