Cold Cave @ Hollywood Forever Cemetery 2/14 & 2/15

Dark wave artist Cold Cave, aka Wesley Eisold, is slated to perform at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Thursday September 14th and Friday September 15th of 2019. The two day event will feature a live performance of the album Love Comes Close as well as a birthday celebration for Eisold on the 15th. Tickets for both shows are going to cost $35 each, with free parking on site. Start times for both shows will also be starting at 8:00 PM.

Cold Cave got its start in 2007 and primarily had a dark synth pop sound. Eisold was actually a member in several hardcore bands including, Give Up the Ghost (previously known as American Nightmare), Some Girls, and Heartworm Press. This previous experience allowed Eisold to take on a project of his own. His first album Love Comes Close was released in 2007 and was rereleased in 2009 after signing to the popular label Matador Records. This album in particular was one of the primary albums that fans enjoyed and helped set off Cold Cave’s career. Since then Cold Cave has released one more studio album along with two compilations and 11 EPs.

The hardworking electronic music musician definitely has a signature sound that is incomparable to anybody else. The ability to manifest an imaginary dark environment through sound is a talent that Cold Cave has been gifted with. Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
