Ben Howard @ Shrine Auditorium 9/27

Following the success of his sold out U.K. European tour, Ben Howard is slated to perform at the Shrine Auditorium on Thurs. September 27th. The English singer-songwriter will be joined by the rock duo Wye Oak on this Thursday night. Tickets for the show are going to range from $19.50 to $59.50 with some additional fees. The show is available to all ages, with doors opening at 6:30 PM and the first performance beginning at 8:00 PM.

Benjamin John “Ben” Howard is a musician from England that began his career as a folk artist in 2008. Throughout the 10 years of his career he has released five EPs and four studio albums. In 2013, he won both BRIT awards for which he was nominated for. The nominations were for best British Breakthrough Act and for best British Solo Male Artist. In that same year he also performed at the widely known Glastonbury Festival on the Pyramid Stage. Then that following year, his second studio album, I Forgot Where We Were, was released and became his first number one record. His recently released album, Noonday Dream, also received favored reviews and accurately depicts his unpredictable music style.

Ben Howard is certainly one of the hottest artist’s to come out of the U.K. recently. His releases are liked by most and his signature sound is incomparable. With support from Wye Oak early in the night, Ben Howard is definitely going to put on a show to remember.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
