Hardcore punk band Fucked Up have released a new song titled “House Of Keys.” The newly released single serves as the second single released from the band this year, shortly following “Normal People,” along with its music video. “House Of Keys” will also be included on their highly anticipated new album Dose Your Dreams, set to be released October 5th. In a press release, “House of Keys” is the chapter in this epic where protagonist David—having been sent on a vision quest and had his eyes opened by revolutionary anarchist fighter Joyce—sees the true nature of music and art in this society, and seeks something greater. It continues to say, “At the center of it all is Damian Abraham’s scream, the aural manifestation of David: a man chained, a man tortured, a true protagonist.” Listen to the new song below.
The new album serves as the follow up to their 2014 album Glass Boys and will include 18 tracks. “This record took two years to make. It has 18 songs, its long, its angry and its beautiful and all that shit,” the band said in a release. See the tracklist below.
