Beck Joins Phoenix on Stage to Perform “Lost Cause” and “Jackass”

Phoenix was joined on stage by Beck at a recent show in Los Angeles, giving attendees more than what they bargained for. The band played a sold-out crowd at the Fonda Theatre on September 7th, as part of their sold-out five-night residency. According to Pitchfork, both played Beck’s songs “Lost Cause” and “Jackass” right near the end of their song “Lovelife” from their album Ti Amo, released last year. Check out the awesome video below.

Phoenix recently released their video for their song “Role Model” where “the band has digitally inserted themselves into the archival work of  Helmut Newton. The band infiltrates the scene as Newton worked to get his iconic shots.”

Beck is gearing for some upcoming festival performances including the Riot Fest this upcoming weekend in Chicago, IL along with Blink-182, Blondie, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, and Interpol and at the Ohana Music Festival alongside Mumford & Sons, Eddie Vedder, and The Yeah-Yeah-Yeahs at the end of this month. His most recent album Colors was released last year.
