Death Cab for Cutie @ Hollywood Forever Cemetery 9/28

Alternative rock band Death Cab for Cutie will be performing at the unique Hollywood Forever Cemetery venue on Fri. September 28th. They will be joined by pop band Charly Bliss, with performances beginning at 6:30 PM. Tickets for the show will cost fans $59.50 and every purchase will include a download for Death Cab for Cutie’s forthcoming album. The venue is completely outdoors and will still occur rain or shine.

The band’s North American tour will kickoff on September 24th in Eugene, Oregon. This tour is following the release of their first album since 2015, Thank You for Today. The album was also entirely produced by the same producer that created their last album Kintsugi. So expect a similar sound if you haven’t heard their new album already. The band will surely play the majority of the tracks off their new album at the beautiful outdoor venue.

Blankets, pillows, and picnics are welcomed into the event as most of the venue surface area is grass. However, tents, coolers, chairs, and pets will not be permitted to the event. Regardless, the show will definitely not be your typical rock concert. The Fairbanks lawn will create a special and comforting environment to concert goers and will generate the perfect vibe for Death Cab. Purchase your tickets now for a memorable rock experience in the charming Hollywood Forever location.

I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
