Korn @ Hollywood Palladium 9/13

Well known rock band and California natives, Korn, are scheduled to perform at the Hollywood Palladium on Thurs. September 13th. This show is one of three shows that the band will be playing in the U.S. this year. Ticket prices for the show are going to start at $175, with doors opening at 7:00 PM.

Korn is an American rock band that most of us have heard of since the mid 90s. It was during this era that Korn began to gain recognition from being featured on MTV and other music channels at the time. The band was primarily known for bringing the nu metal genre of rock music to the mainstream light. Since then, the band has constantly been releasing music and has been traveling internationally. Some of their more popular tracks include Freak On A Leash and Coming Undone. These tracks are integral in American rock music culture and are continued to be played to this day.

While being one of the biggest rock bands to come out of the U.S., the popular band will merely be playing three shows in the country this year. Los Angeles (Woo!), Las Vegas, and San Francisco are the only American cities listed on Korn’s schedule. However, it’s been said by the band that they have plans to endure a bigger tour come 2019. Regardless, local Korn fans should definitely take this rare chance to witness the nu metal rock band perform in one of these three major cities.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
