Phil Collins @ The Forum 10/28

Legendary musician Phil Collins is slated to begin his North American tour come this October.  The “Not Dead Yet Tour” will be making a stop at The Forum in Inglewood on Sun. October 28th. The show will begin at 8:00 PM and is open to all ages. Tickets for the event are going to start from $113 depending on the seat chosen.

The multitalented artist will finally be going on a NA tour for the first time in years. He will be joined by guitarist Daryl Stuermer, keyboardist Brad Cole, bassist Leland Sklar, percussionist Luis Conte, and his 16-year-old son Nicolas on drums along with a horn section and backup singers. Collins has been traveling to different countries doing several solo shows over the past few years. These shows received great reviews and had fans captivated during the whole performance. This definitely reinstates the fact that Collins is still a very respected and influential musician. His drumming style has always been deemed to be very distinct and has inspired many drummers that came after him.

It is very inspiriting to see this seasoned musician make a comeback over the past few years and have big performances. The demand to see the commended artist is definitely unmatched, with nearly selling out every venue months prior to the shows. Luckily for us, Collins will be stopping at several major cities in different states during the month of October. Those yearning to see the English virtuoso will get the chance to very soon.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
