Emo Nite Day with All Time Low and more @ Shrine Expo Hall 10/13

Emo Nite will be hosting its annual festival at the Shrine Expo Hall on Sat. October 13th. The event will gather fans all around the area for a night full of Emo rock music. General admission tickets for the event are going to cost concert goers $49.50, while bundled ticket packages will cost $100. The event is available to all ages, with doors opening at 4:00 PM.

Ever since Emo Nite’s founders, Babs Szabo, T.J. Petracca, and Morgan Freed, created the ongoing event, it has quickly gained popularity and praise throughout the area. The founders created Emo Nite to allow fans of similar music tastes to gather and appreciate Emo rock music from different eras. It’s apparent that the Emo period has had a huge impact on our culture. Even those not personally interested in the music understand the community and aspects surrounding it. To most, the music often reminds us of the simpler and weirder times of our younger ages.

It’s amazing to see the growth and positive feedback that Emo Nite has had over the past years. It’s evident that listeners still have that Emo music bug in them even after all those different music trends over the past few years. Luckily for us, Emo Nite Day will be blessing us with various bands and artists from the Emo era. Bands like All Time Low and 3OH!3 and artists like Mark Hoppus (from Blink-182) and Gnash will be performing to ensure that we get our Emo music fix. Be sure to purchase your tickets for an evening full of nostalgic bangers!

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
