Clairo: Lazy Days Tour @ The Observatory OC 8/11

Flaming Hot Cheetos singer Clairo is deemed to play at the Observatory in Orange County as part of her Lazy Days Tour. The young singer from Massachusetts will be joined by r&b singer Garren Sean throughout the tour. Clairo and Sean will take the stage on Sat. Aug. 11th, with doors opening at 8:00 PM and the first performance starting at 9:00 PM. This show is open to all ages and will cost fans $22.50.

Clairo is a fairly new artist that has been gaining a lot of attention since the release of her song Pretty Girl in 2017. This song in particular is what jumpstarted her career as a bedroom pop singer. It’s this soft lo-fi style of music that has become more trendy over the years and favored by most listeners. Although having a minuscule amount of singles, the singles that she does have happen to be great catchy songs. The singles Flaming Hot Cheetos and 4EVER, which are part of her diary 001 EP, are also fan favorites that perfectly depict the singer’s artistic direction. The fact this EP was released under the FADER Label is a great sign for this thriving independent artist. This allows the musician to grab the attention of a bigger audience, which gives her the leverage she needs to become even more successful.

Clairo is heading in the right direction in her musical path to greatness. We hope this allows the artist to create new music and a possible full length studio album that fans have been waiting for. Until then, we’ll keep supporting Clairo and/or DJ Baby Benz (which ever alias she’s performing in). So be sure to catch Clairo perform all her bangers at the Observatory in a few weeks!

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
