John Carpenter @ Hollywood Palladium 10/31

The multitalented John Carpenter will be performing all of his greatest scores at the Hollywood Palladium on Halloween. The American filmmaker will take the stage at 7:00 PM on that Wednesday night. The show is all ages with general admission standing costing $45.

John Howard Carpenter has had several experiences being a filmmaker, screenwriter, musician, and composer. His more known pieces of work were the films Halloween, The Fog, Escape from New York, and Star Man. Carpenter has also directed other big films that have gained a big following over the years like The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China. He has also gained popularity for composing many spooky classics like the score for Vampires and the Halloween theme song.

The new Halloween movie coming out this October 19th actually features Carpenter as the film’s composer and executive producer. This sequel in particular may seem reminiscent to the older crowd because of Carpenter’s involvement in the film. This should give fans yet another incentive to watch the movie and witness his performance live at the Palladium. Carpenter is set to put on an amazing and nostalgic show consisting of tracks from some of the best horror movies ever created. Don’t be afraid to purchase tickets for this memorable Halloween show!

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
