Two of the hottest bands to come out of Los Angeles are linking up to provide a show for their dedicated rock fans. The Bangles and Best Coast are set to perform at Pershing Square in Downtown LA on July 14th. Entrance to the event is free, however, it is recommended that you reserve your ticket online so that you have guaranteed access. Doors will be opening at 7:00 PM while the actual show will begin at 8:00 PM. This show is the first of the concert series featuring different bands that will be held at the same location every Saturday night until August 18th.
The Bangles are expected to bring their signature Pop-rock sound to the concert. While having several changes in their band roster throughout the years, the members that will be on stage are Susanna Hoffs, Debbi Peterson, and Vicki Peterson. The trio will be performing many of the their classic hits including the more popular hit, “Walk Like An Egyptian”.
Best Coast will also be on the lineup for the night and will be providing fans with their Alternative Rock/Surf sounds. Vocalist, Bethany Cosentino, and lead guitarist Bob Bruno will be on performing for that night. Best Coast has been known to portray their love and appreciation for Southern California. Their performance will definitely have you craving to go to the beach to lay in the radiant sun.
This concert will really set the tone for the rest of the concerts occurring at the Pershing Square in LA. Be sure to catch these two amazing bands along with the following bands that will be announced at the same location very soon!
