Helmet Announces Summer 2018 Tour Dates

Alternative metal and post-hardcore veterans Helmet have announced series of tour dates across both North America and Europe for this summer.

The band will be kicking off in the Midwest with a gig in Lombard, Illinois, and largely sticking around until hitting a couple dates down South, before making their way up again in the Dakotas in July. They’ll then cross the pond to Belgium, before making (many) stops in Germany, then France, Netherlands, Slovakia, Hungary and finally the Czech Republic in August.

Several of the US dates will be accompanied by equally established British alt-rock outfit Bush. Though it wouldn’t be unfair to say that both bands experienced their heydays back in the ’90s (especially Helmet with its beloved trio of albums with Strap It On in 1990, Meantime in 1992 and Betty in 1994), they still have incredible catalogues that are sure to make a visit worth it.

Prior to this tour, Helmet has been on a co-headlining tour with groove metal legends Prong throughout May.
