Kids See Ghosts comes shortly after West’s solo album ye, which also had listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. ye featured many collaborators including Nicki Minaj, Jeremih, Charlie Wilson, John Legend, and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. Following its release, West also announced events in Chicago, Miami, and Brooklyn, calling them “Project Wyoming”
While releasing his own material, West has also been producing some new albums for other artists on his label, which will be released in the next couple of weeks. He produced rapper Nas’ new record, set to be released on June 15th and Teyana Taylor’s, set to be released on June 22nd. West also recently produced the critically acclaimed album Daytona by fellow label mate Pusha T. It is good to know that Mr. West is going to back to the GOOD Friday trend that he started a while back. No word on if Nas and Taylor’s new albums will have a listening party.
