Kanye West has given his rabid fan-base a small taste of what his new material will provide as he has razzed three “Project Wyoming” events on his website. Details are significantly limited but the events will take place in Chicago, Miami and Brooklyn on consecutive days. Additionally West has provided footage on his website from the ye listening party which took place in Wyoming last week.
The event names are “Ye brings Wyoming to (city name).” Julienna Goddard who runs the creative marketing agency 1am, which is responsible for the events said on Twitter, “Ye wants people to experience the album the same way the 400 people in Wyoming did. Open air, around a fire, with stadium quality sound. That’s what #ProjectWyoming is about. Stripping down to the basics and enjoying nature & GOOD company. These are merch pop up bonfires.”
Goddard also provided a link Kanye recently launched which features a 12 minute film from the New York comedy collective Spaghetti Boys. The film was shot at the Wyoming party and other artists to make appearances are 2 Chainz, Lil Yachty and many more.
West surprisingly released ye on 6-1. The album is a shorter but much more collaborative effort than previous efforts in the past. The album includes seven songs with collaborators such as Nicki Minaj, Kid Cudi, Ty Dolla Sign, Jermih, Charlie Wilson, 070 Shake and John Legend.
Kanye also is scheduled to release a new collaborative album with a familiar teammate in Kid Cudi. The work is called Kids See Ghosts and it will be released this Friday with an L.A. listening party scheduled for Thursday. West and Cudi previously worked together on Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon: The End of Day, Cudi’s most successful album to date.
