Since teasing the album back in November and hinting that their new record is complete, Death Cab for Cutie continues to tease fans, only this time with a song. While the band has not released the title of the new song, the band still stays true to their sound. According to Stereogum, frontman Ben Gibbard stated that album will sound similar to the band’s previous album Narrow Stairs, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. The band posted a short clip of the new song on all of their social media accounts with the caption “Watch this space” implying that fans should stay tuned for the song in its entirety on the band’s social media accounts. The band’s new album is set to be released in August and will be their first album since 2015’s Kintsugi.
