Voodoo Music announces that Mumford & Sons, Childish Gambino and Artic Monkeys are set to take the stage at this year’s music festival. The Festival will take place Halloween Weekend in New Orleans’ City Park, a tradition for Voodoo goers and fans.
This October will be the 20th Voodoo Music Festival. Voodoo Music and Arts Experience will continue to provide world class music and festival experiences. Not only will guests enjoy a variety of musical styles but there will also be many different flavors of food to enjoy in gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
Some travel from all over the world for this unique experience. The event has been nominated twice for the Pollstar’s Music Festival of the Year award. In 2005, founder Stephen Rehage and his team were presented with a key to the city after Voodoo’s post-hurricane Katrina event. This top of the line festival never disappoints. They have continued to bring in high class acts over the years. This year is no exception.
Mumford & Sons released Wilder Mind in 2015. They have confirmed that they will release an album sometime this year and they are set to perform on the VooDoo stage in October. Currently, they are playing a show in Hungary. In addition to VooDoo, they will play the SeptemberOhana Festival.
Childish Gambino is preparing for his This Is America Tour beginning in September.
Artic Monkeys, recently back from their hiatus and have been working on something new. On May 11, they their latest album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
This year’s festival line-up also features Odesza, Martin Garrix, Marilyn Manson, Janelle Monae, Elle King, Third Eye Blind, and more. Past line-ups have included other big names like Kendrick Lamar, Foo Fighters, The Killers, DJ Snake, Kehlani, Post Malone and more.
