Lords of Acid Announce New Album Pretty In Kink for May 2018 Release and Share New Song “So Goddamn Good”

Legendary Belgian techno group, Lords of Acid, have finally released the details for their highly anticipated new album, Pretty in Kink, which will be coming out on May 18th via Metropolis Records. The album was a result of a highly successful Kickstarter campaign which saw the group drum up a tremendous groundswell of support, with the campaign significantly exceeding its original target.

The group has also released the lead single from the album in the form of “So Goddamn Good.” The track recalls classic Lords of Acid in its sizzling blend of chill synth lines, snappy drum machine beats and angelic vocals from Marieke Bresseleers. The track relies on switching between clean vocals and gruff rap lines, giving the song plenty texture as it is bound to be another big club hit for the group. This is the first new recording from Lords of Acid since 2012’s excellent Little Mighty Rabbit. Since their formation thirty years ago, Lords of Acid has become one of the most influential underground electronic groups, developing devoted following in Europe and North America. The group recently completed a successful run of tour dates in North America, their first shows on the continent in over six years.
