Welsh metal band Bullet For My Valentine have released the official music video for their new single, “Over It”, according to Blabbermouth.net. The song, from Valentine’s sixth studio album, Gravity, rings jacked and intense and the partnered video, directed by Stuart T Birchall, perfectly mirrors the songs intensity with its vibrant color palette and jagged cuts.

Valentine’s release of Gravity marks the bands sixth studio album, which will be available June 29 on the band’s new label Search and Destroy. “Over the last 12 months, I’ve been thinking about the word ‘contemporary’ a lot,” singer/guitarist Matt Tuck recently said. “And I feel this is a contemporary record.” Tuck went on to say the band wants to evolve and “not write the same shit anymore.”

The song “Over it”, with its high production value and heavy sound, has helped the band transition to a new artistic place. “This is me pouring my heart out into a song,” Tuck said. “It’s all about the journey.” The bands journey hasn’t been all easy and includes the addition of a new drummer Jason Bowld who has been touring with the band for the last two years. The video for “over it”, is a perfect match for the bands continuing evolution.
