Khemmis has announced an upcoming album, Desolation, for release in June 22nd. The album will be released through 20 Buck Spin and Nuclear Blast. This follows the band’s recently finished Decibel Magazine Tour.
Desolation is said to be an album that for the fans of Paradise Lost, Candlemass, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Spirit Adrift, Pallbearer, Yob, Warning, Atlantean Kodex, High On Fire, Metallica, and Corrosion Of Conformity. According to the press release, the cover artwork for Desolation by Sam Turner, well known for Black Breath, 3 Inches Of Blood, and In The Company Of Serpents. The cover artwork has not yet been released.
In anticipation, the band has released its first single for the album. “Isolation” is a music video directed by Italo Ganni. The video consists of walking through the people walking through the field and fighting as it switches from character to character. The video can be watched below.
Along with the working of the upcoming album, the band will be going on tour. As of current, this tour begins in April 19th and will be ending on July 29th. This tour consists of stops such as Roadburn Festival, Doom Over Leipzig Festival, Maryland Death Fest, Migration Fest and Heavy Montreal. More tour dates are expected to be added.
