Phoenix Announces Residency at The Fonda Theatre

Phoenix

For five nights Phoenix will be welcoming fans and friends into the Fonda Theatre for nights of dancing, singing, and reminiscing in days of summer. Their latest album Ti Amo has received widely positive reviews, with a series of songs about love in more ways than one. The album was released in June of 2017, intentionally in tune with desire for love and adventure in the summer.

The French band members claim the album came out of a period of darkness and their fantasized version of Italy and European discos. The poppy upbeat rhythms are paired with lyrics, “It’s not love but wait. I’ll be standing by the jukebox. Champagne or Prosecco?” The album tells a simple story that anyone can relate to, having been in an Italian disco or not.

If you haven’t been to a disco, now is your chance. You can catch Phoenix at The Fonda Theatre September 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.
