Jack White is an American songwriter, singer, and musician best known from his role in the duo The White Stripes. Jack White is also a fairly well known actor, when he isn’t producing records or performing. Rolling Stone named White one of the top guitarists of all time, so there will be plenty of instrument presence at his show. White is incredibly talented, with twelve grammy awards and many more nominations. Joining the White Stripes at only age 19, his name rose to fame at a young age, but Jack White has had tremendous solo success as well.

The alternative rock star, notorious for having his solo works top Billboard charts, comes to Austin on May 2nd. White brings along musical guest A Giant Dog for his Texas shows. A Giant Dog is a punk rock band from Austin, so get ready to experience this local treasure alongside Jack White. White is a bit of a philanthropist and loves to give back, through the National Recording Preservation Foundation and the Nashville Gender Equality Council to name a few, if you needed another reason to support the artist and see him.
