Looking to Fall Into the Ocean This Summer? Catch Blue October at the House of Blues on June 6th

Blue October is a band that has reached the point of depending on their original and loyal fans, but not expected to reinvent themselves in any shocking way. Their most recent album Home released in 2016 is a comfortable and familiar sound for all of the fans that have grown up, gotten married, and even have had kids of their own. While it may seem like it was just yesterday we were all singing in the car with friends to “Into the Ocean,” the simpler times of 2006 have come and gone.

Blue October does have a recent single out as well released in January 2018 titled, “I Hope you’re Happy.” The song accomplishes everything a single should – a relatable message about love paired with an upbeat tempo that can easily be played in any coffee shop or dentist office. While it is still a safe song that couldn’t quite be in a soda ad, the song definitely doesn’t stray too far away from their core sound and audience.

For fans of bands like Sister Hazel, or even Phil Collins – Blue October will not disappoint. If you’re looking for a night away from the kids with your significant other, or even a simple night of nostalgia for driving music in 2006 – don’t miss Blue October at the House of Blues Anaheim on June 6th, 2018.
