All We Know of Heaven – Is it Sounds a Lot Like PVRIS at the Roxy Theatre on April 12th!

In December of 2017 PVRIS gracefully introduced the world to their second studio album All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell further solidifying their identity in both pop electronica and alternative rock. Recorded in a supposedly haunted church turned music studio, the album confidentially identifies spirituality, the struggle with confronting mortality, depression, and desire to be loved and be in love. All VERY DEEP topics that are combined with ethereal rhythms that keep the album from getting too dark to listen to on an average afternoon.

“Heaven” is a stand out track that starts the album strong with sounds that immediately tell the audience this is no White Noise 2 (PVRIS’ first studio album). The band’s ability to embrace dance electronica has elevated their sound beyond just another angsty teen band, but simultaneously has been done so constructively that it doesn’t sound thirsty to sell out for a top hit.

Furthermore, their music videos for the album have further enhanced in maturity. Sticking to the black and white, but including truly visionary concepts that only add to the full experience of All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell. There is only one more thing that can make this experience complete – seeing their performance at the Roxy Theatre on April 12th!
