HAIM Wants You Back, Los Angeles! See them at the Fox Theatre in Pomona on April 11th!

Say hello to a night of unabashedly fun 70’s and 80’s nostalgic with the HAIM sisters on April 11th. These LA natives are back just east of the 10 and ready for a night of both old memories and new. Coming in fresh with their 2017 album, Something to Tell You, HAIM is prepping to share this eloquent reflection of unsaid feelings and moving on with Los Angeles both in Pomona, and at Coachella.

Something to Tell You further affirms HAIM’s deep knowledge and understanding of not only how to write meaningful pop lyrics, but also how to further their unique sound. There is no other girl group on the radio that embraces 80’s soft rock rhythms so seamlessly without direct imitation. Unlike Taylor Swift’s tribute to 80’s pop in 1989, HAIM does not just pay tribute – they redefine the pop genre with an in-depth understanding of what makes a classic, a classic. Perhaps this understanding is a direct result of their upbringing with music loving parents, or perhaps it was a recent conversation with Stevie Nicks herself on the importance of keeping a diary. After a visit at Nick’s house, the girls were inspired to now keep a diary for both lyrics and day to day journaling. Keeping a diary clearly spoke to the sisters, as their new album is relatable and complexly aware of the progression of an “almost” relationship.

Getting over a breakup? Trying to forget that almost someone? Just need a night to dance and reflect on old times? Don’t miss HAIM at the Fox Theatre on April 11th!
