It’s the No Festival Left Behind Act for Chromeo – but first the El Rey Theatre on April 11th

is a band that lives off their stage presence and intricate and forward-thinking songwriting. While not releasing a new album since White Women in 2014, the band has released singles and has kept up engagement with fans and the music industry through touring – and engaging with both small and large festivals. Their newest single, “Bedroom Calling” merges their electro-funk sound with a modern mix of upbeat pop rhythms – perfect to dance to with that spring is here pep in your step.

The days are longer, the rain is making everything new, and Chromeo is coming to the El Rey – what more could you ask for! Not into their new singles? Don’t worry! The FUNKLORDZ (@Chromeo on Twitter) themselves have tweeted, “…We got 12+ years’ worth of songs…bringing back some old faves too. Which ones would you like to hear?” Got anything in mind! Tyler Moore: Born and raised in a small town south of Chicago, Tyler moved to Los Angeles when she was 18 to attend USC's School of Cinematic Arts. While in film school Tyler was actively involved in production both in and outside of class, and took on several thesis level writing courses. An artist at heart, Tyler's love for music carries into her work as a filmmaker whether it is making music videos or finding acute references to her favorite songs when composing new music for her films. After college, Tyler worked for two years as a non-scripted and digital television producer creating content for MTV2, Amazon Digital, and Kevin Hart's Comedy network, LOL. She now works in branded content, pairing artists and influencers with stories and brands that organically fit into their daily routine. Aside from this, Tyler loves the outdoors and is a brand ambassador for mobile digital camera REMOVU. She also still regularly carries out her love of screenwriting with her own original screenplays.
