Summer 2018 tour dates have been announced by Wisconsin folk punk band Violent Femmes. The band will be headlining the tour throughout the month of June starting in Boulder, CO on June 11th. The members of Violent Femmes will be joined by other artists Dirty Femmes, Ava Mendoza, Atwin Batish and Blaise Garza with John Sparrow. The tour will end on June 25 in San Diego, CA while playing with artists Blaise Garza and John Sparrow. The Violent Femmes are continuing their packed live schedule after their release of 2 Mics & the Truth Unplugged and Unhinged in America in July of 2017. The album includes songs recorded live by the band for the first time and requests to do songs live.In September of 2017 according to mxdwn the band announced that they will be headlining their own tour after their tour with Echo & The Bunnymen ended. Near the end of the band’s headlining tour they will be making an appearance at Arroyo Seco Weekend 2018 on June 24th.
