Westward Music Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Blood Orange, Angel Olsen and Mudhoney

Taking place from Thursday, September 13th to Sunday, September 14th, Vancouver’s Westward Music Festival have now lifted the curtain behind who their line up is for their festival’s 2018 edition.

Launching last year when major multi-day showcases like Pemberton Music Festival and Squamish Valley Music Festival dissolved, Westward appeared, and focused on Vancouver staging shows in intimate venues such as the Vogue Theatre.

Beginning its first introductory year with a diverse spanning lineup, Westward Music Festival featured Gov’t Mule, Vince Staples, A Tribe Called Red and many more, and after a line up like this, last year organizers has taken this years lineup to further heights.

From artist like Angel Olsen, the alternative country singer who breaks barriers with her songs redefining sex and gender, to the conscious sounds of the talented British artist, Blood Orange, the festivals lineups this year are far from predictable and typical.

Alongside these artist is Toronto’s premium punk deconstructionist Metz, and the alternative rock icons, Mudhoney.

Adding even more diversity is the neo-soul project Rhye, the soul-pop artist maverick, Kelela and Grammy nominee Kali Uchis.

Vancouver artists were also signed for the Festivals lineup, and this included acts such as pop-rock legends the Odds and alt-prog trio, We Are the City.

Pre-sale tickets will be available at westwardfest.com and ticketfly.com, Wednesday, February 7th, while regular on sale starts February 12th.
