Sasquatch! Music Festival, as opposed to its namesake, exists. Today, as proof of this, its organizers announced their spectacular 2018 lineup. The concerts will be held during the weekend of May 25th to 27th at 754 Silica Road in Quincey, Washington, where they have been since 2002, when Sasquatch! established itself as one of the premier festivals of the Pacific Northwest.
The Gorge Amphitheater—jokes about it being simply ‘gorge-ous’ aside—overlooks Washington’s Columbia River, and is a very pretty spot. The festival’s producer and creator, Adam Zacks, wanted to create a show worthy of the Gorge Amphitheater’s majesty. Since 2002, he has consistently been able to bring the talent necessary to compete musically with what the Amphitheater does architecturally.
To match the Gorge Amphitheater’s natural beauty, heroic sunsets and massive stage, Sasquatch! invited Bon Iver, David Byrne and Tyler, The Creator to headline. Although those who listen to Talking Heads will have to brush up on Bon Iver and Tyler, The Creator, these artists need little introduction. Modest Mouse and The National will also feature, along with a long list of names big and small.
Unfortunately, pre-sale tickets for the 2018 show sold out in November. A new round of ticket sales will begin on Saturday, February 10th at 10 a.m. (PST). Find them here.
