Despite being only 988 acres (4 km) wide, the Graspop Metal Meeting Festival brought in 152,000 visitors for 2015’s show, and has been a major metal festival ever since its inaugural sixteen-band lineup back in 1996. Back as the headliner since that first show, Graspop 2018 marks Iron Maiden’s ninth appearance on the grounds of Dessel, Belgium, where international fans camp out for the four day metal festival in June.
This year, Iron Maiden is accompanied by a massive lineup of bands, with Guns N’ Roses, Volbeat, Ozzy Osbourne, Avenged Sevenfold, Judas Priest, A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, Ghost, Parkway Drive, Hollywood Vampires, Limp Bizkit, Megadeath, Rise Against, Jonathan Davis, Ayreon, Body Count (feat. Graspop 2018 takes place on June 21-24, 2018, and tickets are available via the Graspop website here, priced at €205 for all four days, €245 for the deluxe XL package, €89 for single-day Thursday and €99 for single-day Friday, Saturday or Sunday. VIP four day and VIP XL have already sold out, but are still on sale for €169 VIP per single-day passes. Tickets include access to the festival and campground, as well as free parking and shuttle bus to Dessel from the Mol train station. VIP benefits add on the VIP car park and the special VIP Corner.
