The Vaccines Releases New Heavy Hitting Song “Nightclub”

Every week people look forward to Tuesdays not because its known as Taco Tuesday but also because fans of both music and film rejoice in new releases tends to fall on this day of the week. The indie rock band from West London, The Vaccines released their new track titled “Nightclub” The new single premiered today as Zane Lowe’s World’s Hottest Record on Beats 1. It comes straight off the band’s forthcoming fourth studio album Combat Sports which is slated to come out on March 30th via Columbia Records.

After a three-year hiatus, Justin Young and the rest of the Vaccines members including Freddie Cowan, Árni Árnason, and Pete Robertson are returning to their roots with their upcoming album. Combat Sports is described as “brash, bold, rock and roll songs that mix melancholy and euphoria,” the new record has the band has the band doing what they do best. The music ranges from pure Vaccines rock and roll through to powerpop.

Combat Sports will feature 11 brand new tracks including the latest single, “Nightclub” which appears at number seven on the record. The new single has the potential of being a great song but feels limp. Like a lot of rock songs, fans will find themselves enjoying the live version better.

The Vaccines began their career in 2011 when they debuted their album What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? to critical successFollowing their bestselling debut, they released Come of Age in 2012 which got the #1 spot in the UK. Their third album English Graffiti reached #2 in the UK.
