The National Announces Spring 2018 Tour Dates

The National have been keeping themselves the last months of 2017 touring the world in support of their recently released album, Sleep Well Beast, which came out in September. As January continues, the American rock band are extending their U.S tour with an additional string of dates for fans to look forward to this upcoming Spring.

More shows have been added to the National’s 2018 spring U.S. tour in April and May. Some of the stops that the band will take include Charlottesville, Raleigh, Nashville, Asheville, and St. Augustine. Fans of the indie rock group, Big Thief will be excited to learn that they will be providing support for The National during these dates. In addition to their tour, The National announced the lineup for their inaugural  Homecoming Festival. The festival will happen in Cincinnati on April 28 and 29 and will feature performers by The National, Big Thief, Father John Misty, the Breeders, and more.  

The National’s album, Sleep Well Beast was released back in September and is nominated for 2 Grammy awards including Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package for designers Luke Hayman and Andrea Trabucco-Campos of Pentagram.

Fans can purchase tickets for The National’s newly added shows Friday, January 19th on 10 AM when tickets go on sale to the general public. There are pre-sale tickets starting Wednesday, January 17th at 10 AM local time (password = REALITYBASED).
