Firefly Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and The Killers

Now that the new year has begun plenty of summer festivals have been announcing their lineups, with the Firefly Music Festival announcing a stacked lineup that will feature the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, The Arctic Monkeys and The Killers over its three days. Since its inception in 2012, the Firefly Music Festival has been home to some of the most diverse lineups on the summer festival scene, with last year’s edition boasting the likes of The Weeknd, Muse, Bob Dylan, Chance the Rapper, and Twenty One Pilots. You can check out mxdwn’s coverage of the festival here, here, and here.

Festival-goers will no doubt be excited at the pairing of Kendrick Lamar and Eminem, with the former being the hottest name in hip-hop right now due to a series of stellar releases while the latter is roaring back to activity having just released new album. Additionally, this will mark the first show for The Arctic Monkeys in over three years as reported by Pitchfork.

However, the real appeal of the festival lies in its musical diversity, with the likes of Portugal. The Man, Lil Wayne, Alt-J, Odeza, Jimmy Eat World, Foster the People, Chromeo, Royal Blood, and Lord Huron among the other notable acts on the bill.

Produced by Red Frog Events and Goldenvoice, the Firefly Music Festival has been one of the top festival draws on the east coast, with the festival set to go from June 14th to the 17th at The Woodlands in Dover, DE. You can purchase tickets here.
