One of the hottest new festivals in Los Angeles, the Air + Style Festival, has announced its lineup for this year, which promises to be one of the most exciting bills of the year. Founded by two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Shaun White, the Air + Style Festival will bring together music, snowboarding, skateboarding along with plenty of other interactive attractions for a two-day extravaganza on March 3rd and 4th at Exposition Park.
Phoenix and Zedd are the two main headliners, along with a special performance from Gucci Mane. As a whole the festival features an eclectic blend of artists to fill out the bill such as Cashmere Cat, Cut/Copy, GRiZ, Mura Masa, Phantogram, Washed Out, Tinashe, Cloud Nothings, ACHAL, Wet, Twin Peaks, Haerts, and Mija among many others.
Phoenix has become one of the top headlining acts on the festival circuit these days, earning a coveted headlining spot at Coachella back in 2013. Since that performance, the French indie rock/electronic group has developed a reputation for putting on a high energy live show.
Anton Igorevich Zaslavski, known by his stage name Zedd, has quickly risen through the festival ranks to become one of the biggest EDM DJ’s in the world and he is currently prepping a new studio album that is set to drop sometime this year.
Gucci Mane, one of the original creators of trap music, will return to the live stage in what promises to be an excellent performance. Gucci Mane recently released his 12th studio album in the form of El Gato: The Human Glacier and he has announced his 13th album, The Evil Genius will be out at some point in 2018.
Last year’s version of the festival had its moments of excitement, and this year promises to be even better. Over the course of four years, the Air + Style Festival has developed into one of the mainstays of a hot music festival scene in Los Angeles. You can purchase tickets at this link.
