Metal Supergroup, Scour, has just announced a limited tour for this month. The band will play two shows in Texas on the 15th and 16th. The band will also be playing at Roskilde Festival in the summer of 2018.
The band first formed in 2015 under the leadership of the extremely talented, Phillip H. Anselmo who is known for his work with Pantera, Down and Superjoint along with other side projects such as Arson Anthem, Christ Inversion, Southern Isolation, Viking Crown, Eibon, Phillip H. Anselmo & The Illegals and En Minor. With the help of John Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Misery Index), Derek Engemann (Cattle Decapitation) and Chase Fraser (Animosity, Decrepit Birth) Anselmo released “Dispatched” as the band‘s first single. They followed it up with an EP Titled Scour in 2016. Their most recent EP is titled Red and was released last month. The supergroup has continued to experiment with black metal, grindcore and trash music in an exciting way. Texas fans are sure in for a show!
