I’m With Her has released a music video for “See You Around”. This song will be a part of the newly formed band’s debut album.
According to the press release, the song has been described as “a plaintive acoustic ballad full of the lush vocal harmonies for which the group has come to be loved” by No Depression. As for their voices, the New York Times have said that “”…when the three women sang together, their voices became one instrument, sharing every breath.” In regards to the creation of the song Watkins states “‘See You Around’ was one of the first songs we wrote together in Los Angeles in July 2015. It encapsulates a lot of what this band is about: moving through the world with a certain boldness and looking forward to the future.”
The song’s video is a live performance. The scene shows the trio sharing one microphone and each of them strumming on their guitar, as the vocals have a soft harmonic tone. The video can be watched below.
