Spaceland and KROQ are bringing Joyce Manor to Union Station in Los Angeles, California, Jan. 18, 2018. Start off the year on a good foot with a $20 show. Supported by Surf Curse and French Vanilla, this Saturday event will cost $27 at the door. The all ages event will open their doors at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM. This event is going to sell fast, so what are you waiting for? Cop your tickets today from Ticketfly. The early bird tickets are sold out so make sure you get an advance ticket while you still can.
Coming off a previous co-headlining tour with fellow Californian band Wavves and Culture Abuse and French Vanilla, as previously reported by mxdwn, Joyce Manor currently doesn’t have any other 2018 dates. Who knows what will happen in the next upcoming months, whether it’s new music or more touring.
They played 69 concerts in 2017, according to Songkick. As far as 2018 goes, check out their website to stay up-to-date with the next tour dates coming up.
Hailing from Torrance, CA, Joyce Manor formed in 2008 and consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, drummer Jeff Enzor and bassist and back-up vocalist Matt Ebert. Their sound can be described as emo, pop-punk and indie rock. Pitchfork called the group “one of the most popular and interesting bands in their realm” in a 2014 review.
The band has released four studio albums, six extended plays and a compilation album since 2009. Their latest album, Cody, was released last year via Epitaph Records. The album topped the U.S. Billboard Heatseekers chart, with Pitchfork calling the album “more grown-up and measured” in a review.
