December is loaded with shows. Catch Metro Boomin at the Novo by Microsoft Dec. 22, thanks to Goldenvoice. It’ll be a Friday night to remember. The event, called Boomin Holiday, will be a late night show, with doors opening at 11:15 PM. The concert will start at 11:45 PM. The all ages event will likely have a few special guests in the mix, considering the name Metro Boomin & Friends.
Ticket prices begin at $19.50 and max out at $29.50, which is a really reasonable price tag. Make sure you cop a ticket as soon as you can, this one is a good one. The bass will be insanely heavy and it will be sure to sell out very fast.
Metro Boomin is not currently on tour right now, amassing over 69 concerts in the past year, according to Songkick. Needless to say, Metro Boomin is a pretty busy guy. That means Angelenos and Californians in general only get one chance to see him perform. Considering how popular he is, this is a show that you won’t want to miss.
Also known as Leland Wayne, Young Metro or Metro, Metro Boomin is one of hip-hop’s biggest producers in the game. He is also a record executive and a DJ, owning Boominati Records. He hails from St. Louis, Missouri, with his southern influences apparent on his work. Putting out massive hip-hop and trap beats is his speciality, and no one does it quite the way that he does.
He began making beats at the age of 13, utilizing the program software FruityLoops that his mom bought for him. It was game on from that very moment. Slowly harnessing his craft over the years, Metro Boomin finally broke out into the music scene in 2013 with his first mixtape, titled 19 & Boomin. Working with the likes of Lil Wayne, Drake, 21 Savage, Kayne West, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Future, the Weeknd and more, Metro quickly made a name for himself.
