Loyal music fans have their entire year scheduled in advance with dates to their favorite music festivals just to catch a glimpse of their favorite musicians. There are a variety of festivals to choose from because regardless which one you pick, you are sure to have not only a music lover’s dream of watching artists performing but also a grand experience that features culture up close and personal.
Even those who cleanse themselves spiritually has a festival for them. The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is back for another round of music and fun. Today, the OMF has announced its 2018’s initial lineup which features headliners Arcade Fire and Bassnectar who are set to perform two sets as well as Halsey, Slightly Stoopid, The Flaming Lips, Foster the People, Leon Bridges, Blackbear and Travis Scott.
The OMF is a four-day event is produced by Soundslinger, LLC and will feature music, arts, wellness and camping experience. It will once again take over Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida from Thursday, March 1st through Sunday, March 4th. The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival prides themselves on being more than just a music festival. The festival’s main attractions beyond music include interactive and immersive art experiences, a wide assortment of health & wellness activities and diverse food vendors from across the Sunshine State, among many other onsite activities.
The location of OMF sits at the heart of Florida between Miami, Tampa, and Orlando. Sunshine Grove spans across 800-acres of grasslands, clear lakes, and exotic tropical woodlands. OMF celebrates the start of Spring with performances from both world-renowned and on the rise artists as well as art installations, yoga, meditation, local culinary treats and much more.

General admission tickets start at $269 (plus taxes and fees) with an option to buy bundles that will save you money. The OMF is entering its third year after two sold-out festivals. It has quickly grown to be the largest independent festival in the Southeast and the first major destination of the festival season.
