Cradle Of Filth Announces Spring 2018 Tour Dates

For fans of Cradle of Filth, the extreme metal band from the UK, the wait to see them again is about to be over. Starting in March of 2018, the group is set to make their long-awaited return to North America with a headlining tour to support their latest album. The Ukraine metal band Jinjer is coming along for the ride and is set to open for the group.

Cradle of Filth will kick off their tour in Mexico City on March 27th and will be the only show without Jinjer. After that kickoff show, the tour will move across the border into Texas, making stops across the East Coast and upward into Canda. It will then descend the Midwest with the finished show in San Francisco on April 22nd.

Cradle of Filth vocalist, Dani Filth commented by saying that, “Cradle Of Filth are very much looking forward to the U.S/ Canadian leg of the Cryptoriana World Tour. Even more so now that we have just finished the extremely successful UK run, and with a huge European run ahead of us the band will be totally up to speed, firing on all cylinders and playing a cool, yet eclectic set from the new album and beyond (the extensive ‘Bathory Aria’ from Cruelty And The Beast now being a firm fan favorite). So get ready for nights of insane gothic horror, and vehement perversity come to the cusp of April when Cradle hit the States where it hurts.”

Earlier this fall, Cradle of Filth released their 12th album, Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay. The album was released on September 22nd via Nuclear Blast and recorded at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, U.K. The album was recorded with the help of Scott Atkins. Atkins has been the resident go-to producer for the band and helped record several of the band’s album.

Tickets for the North American tour will go on sale to the general public starting this Friday, December 1st at 10:00 am local time. There are VIP packages available to purchase as well.
